All sessions are relaxed and pictures are taken in a documentary style and in the comfort of your own home.  There is no posing and little direction.  I want to capture what life is like right now.  Your daily life and all it’s beautiful moments that happen admist the routine and challenges that arise when having kids.  Little hands holding mums, playing with dad, toys over running the lounge, sibling rivalry. All the moments that make your family special.  The moments you want to remember in 20 years.

Your home

No need to tidy your home too much,  I love to see lived in homes! Have a think about which room you may like the photos in.  I like to get the children to show me their bedrooms, usually they like to show me all their special toys and I can record their favourite things.

What should we wear?

Clothing is probably the most challenging part of preparing for your photo shoot.
Here are a few rules I tell my clients:
• Be timeless. Choose outfits and accessories that aren’t considered too trendy.
• Avoid logos
• Most importantly, make sure you are comfortable. If you don’t feel like yourself, it will show in the photographs.

Be Yourself!

No need for awkward poses and cheesy smiles.  Relax, be yourself.  Let the kids be themselves.  The cheekier the better!  Normally I start off my session with the kids and tell Mum and Dad to sit down and grab a coffee.  Everyone relaxes and I capture whatever unfolds.
